My favorite holiday

I love holiday and my favorite holiday is Sulnal. Sulnal is Korea new years.

My favorite traditional is Saebae and Saebae means to bow of respect to one’s elders on new years day. I do Sarba to my father, mother, grandparents and my older cousin. After Saeba older person give money to younger people so After all Saeba I got a lot of money Ya!!

Next In Salnal we ate a lot of foods, and There have many kind of foods. First we eat Duggok .Duggok is rice dumpling soup. Every bowl of rice dumpling soup means a year to your age. We eat Jeon during new years week. Jeon is fry vegetable or fish and Every Korean food are delicious to me.

I play with my family so My cousin and grandparents are come to my house from there house. My dad have 2 younger brothers and 1 younger sister. My dad is oldest sun, so every family come to my house. I play computer game with my younger boy cousin. We play shooting game. My older sister and younger girl cousins are play childish game because of younger cousin. We play Yut. Yut is Korea traditional game in Salnal. Yut is wood square block. I like play with my cousin

I love Salnal It so fun and happy but 2012 Salnal is January 24 but 2012 Salnal I will stay in  O.V.S dorm so I’m so sad about that.

Thanks

I have many things to be thankful for in my life. I am thankful for my family, study in O.V.S and I’m thanks for technology.

First I’m thanks for my family. My mom made me stay in O.V.S. My dad bought me many electronic he bought me phone, tablet PC and MP3….. He bought me many electronic but I broke many time. My sister is really good at study, and She like to studys. In Korea almost every day I fought with my sister. Sometime she is really kind and she teach me English, Korean, history and many subject. I’m really thanks for my family.

Second I am thankful to study in O.V.S. First Ms.Cassidy teach me a lot. She teach me writing, reading, science and social study. I’m her ESL student so she must teach me.Mr.Vail teach me ultimate Frisbee in PE class. He help my home works every study hall. O.V.S students make me happy. Gene is my best friend in OVS we play a lot in the dorm. Victor Gong is really nice friend. He help my meth homework every night. I am really. thankful for study in O.V.S.

           Third I’m thankful for technology. Computer helps us a lot, and if we use computer we can work or study faster. Right now I’m using computer and writing fast and easy. Also we can play computer game and we can play fun. Many people can travel easier, with Riding car are faster than walking .We can call or text with phone. We can play videogame with smart phone, and we can use Internet with smart phone. So I’m really thankful for technology.

          In summary I’m really thankful for my family, O.V.S and technology

        Fall Camping is Awesome

                                                           

        8^th grade teachers and students were went camping trip. I think camping trips are awesome and fun. We spent time with friends, we learn many thing and we did many exercise and we have fun. So I think camping trips are awesome.

First we were together a lot. We sleep together. We slept in tent and we don’t have electronic so play card game or play. We played card game at night. BS was really popular with students. Card game was fun. We did entertainments at night. We learn about friends. It was really fun.

       

Second we learn some things new. We went to tree museums learn about fish at hatchery. I learned Native American in Nuuicunni museum. Every day we made food for all students and teachers. Many teachers teach us how to cook. We learn about plant. Tues day we did hiking we saw many plants. We saw many plants in the mountain.

       

Last we did exercise. We did hiking in Thursdays. We walked a lot in hiking we swam a lot in hiking. We swam in river. We swam in river. We walked a lot. We went hiking. We walked in museum.

       

We learn many thing and we all have fun in fall camping. So I think fall camping are awesome.

                                         My Most Scary Moment

I studied in Korea at YakSam middle school.

We had 40 students in one class. In class time, my teacher said “study by yourself” and he left the classroom but we have 10 minute.

We thought It was free time and we just played. We played for five minutes. Suddenly my friends sat down I was so nervous. But I still kept playing with my friends. After five seconds the teacher came to me and said “Kim Jae Won after school come to my room”

“Oh my god.” I played with my friends but the teacher thought only I made the noise. After school, I went to the teacher’s room.

I was so scared. The teacher said “Jae Won……… please shut up in class time.”

Then he said “Today I’m feeling so good so I’ll hit you only 5 times” It was my most scary moment.

          My father name is Kim Cha Gum. When I was young he was mean. But these years he was so nice to me. I’m so happy.

september 9 me and my father visit L.A. We visit Holly wood, universal studio. It was so fun. We ride many things. My father and I went to San Diego. I buy my cell phone and play a lot. My father and I go to play golf. My father is really good at golf. After golf we visit Guardian. We sleep in guardian’s house. We play a lot. It was so funny.
